By purchasing, accepting, or using a ticket to SlimeCityCon (“SCC,” “SlimeCityCon,” “we,” “our,” or “the Event”), all attendees agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Event Admission

All attendees must possess a valid ticket or credential to enter the event.

SlimeCityCon reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee from the event at any time for violations of these Terms & Conditions, the Attendee Code of Conduct, unsafe behavior, harassment, illegal activity, or failure to follow event staff instructions.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while on event premises, regardless of ticket type or credential.

Minors age 13 and older may attend SlimeCityCon without direct adult supervision at the discretion and risk of their parent or guardian. However, parents and guardians remain fully responsible for the behavior, safety, and supervision of minors attending the event. 

SlimeCityCon reserves the right to remove unattended minors or contact parents/guardians if a minor is disruptive, unsafe, violating event policies, damaging property, harassing others, or creating operational or safety concerns.

Attendees must present valid identification matching the ticket purchaser name for check-in or credential pickup.

2. Ticket Sales & Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final.

Tickets are non-refundable except in the event SlimeCityCon cancels the event entirely and does not reschedule it.

Failure to attend, schedule conflicts, travel issues, illness, weather, family emergencies, or removal from the event for policy violations do not qualify for refunds.

Tickets are non-transferable and may not be duplicated, resold, shared, transferred, transferred for profit, or used for unauthorized promotional purposes without written approval from SlimeCityCon.

SlimeCityCon reserves the right to revoke tickets that violate these policies.

3. Event Changes

Event schedules, guests, programming, activities, vendors, workshops, panels, and attractions are subject to change without notice.

SlimeCityCon does not guarantee the appearance of any specific creator, vendor, sponsor, activity, or feature.

No refunds or partial refunds will be issued due to programming changes.

4. Assumption of Risk

By attending SlimeCityCon, attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the event, including but not limited to:

  • Crowded environments
  • Loud music or amplified sound
  • Slippery surfaces
  • Physical activity
  • Sensory materials and slime ingredients
  • Strong fragrances, scents, and airborne materials
  • Borax-based activators and other slime-making compounds
  • Allergic reactions, asthma triggers, skin irritation, or sensitivities
  • Interactions with attendees, vendors, creators, or exhibitors

Slime products, ingredients, and activators are not edible and should not be ingested.

Attendees are responsible for supervising minors in their care and ensuring that slime materials and ingredients are used safely and appropriately at all times.

5. Slime, Sensory Materials & Allergies

SlimeCityCon may include products containing glue, fragrance oils, dyes, borax, clay, latex, foam beads, glitter, scents, pigments, and other sensory materials.

Attendees are solely responsible for reviewing product ingredients and avoiding materials that may cause allergic reactions, sensitivities, or medical concerns.

SlimeCityCon, its staff, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, venue partners, and contractors are not responsible for allergic reactions, skin irritation, damaged clothing or belongings, or misuse of products.

Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether activities and materials are appropriate for minors in their care.

6. Photography, Video & Media Release

By entering the event, attendees grant SlimeCityCon permission to photograph, film, livestream, and record their likeness, voice, image, and participation.

Attendees grant SlimeCityCon and its partners the irrevocable right to use these recordings and images for promotional, marketing, archival, social media, advertising, and commercial purposes without compensation or approval.

Attendees understand that the event may be photographed or recorded by media outlets, creators, vendors, sponsors, and other attendees.

7. Personal Property

Attendees are responsible for their own belongings.

SlimeCityCon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Unattended items may be removed by venue staff or security.

8. Health & Safety

Attendees agree to comply with all venue rules, safety requirements, posted signage, emergency procedures, and instructions from event staff, venue personnel, security, medical personnel, or law enforcement.

Running, unsafe behavior, vandalism, fighting, threatening conduct, reckless behavior, throwing slime or materials, or misuse of slime products is prohibited.

Slime products, ingredients, and activators are not edible and may not be ingested.

For safety and cleanliness reasons, slime play and slime-related activities may only take place in designated play or activity areas approved by SlimeCityCon.

Any attendee who appears intoxicated, impaired, dangerous, disruptive, or unwilling to follow safety instructions may be removed without refund.

9. Prohibited Items & Activities

The following are prohibited unless explicitly authorized by SlimeCityCon:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Illegal substances
  • Open flames
  • Hazardous materials
  • Harassing or threatening behavior
  • Unauthorized sales or solicitation
  • Counterfeit merchandise
  • Unauthorized recording of paid workshops or restricted content
  • Drones or remote-controlled devices
  • Any activity that interferes with event operations or attendee safety

SlimeCityCon reserves the right to inspect bags and belongings where permitted by law.

10. Vendor & Creator Interactions

Attendees are expected to treat vendors, creators, sponsors, volunteers, staff, and fellow attendees respectfully.

Harassment of vendors, aggressive bargaining, theft, chargeback fraud, disruptive conduct, or interference with booths or programming may result in removal from the event.

Transactions between attendees and vendors are solely between those parties. SlimeCityCon is not responsible for disputes regarding purchases, shipping, damaged items, refunds, authenticity, or product quality.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SlimeCityCon, its owners, staff, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, venue partners, exhibitors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, claim, expense, delay, or consequential damages arising from attendance at the event.

Attendees agree that liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid for the attendee’s ticket.

12. Removal From Event

SlimeCityCon reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deny entry, revoke admission, remove attendees from the event, or revoke badges or credentials at any time, with or without warning and without refund, for any reason deemed necessary to protect the safety, experience, operations, property, staff, vendors, creators, or attendees of the event.

This includes, but is not limited to, attendees who:

  • Violate these Terms & Conditions
  • Violate the Code of Conduct
  • Create an unsafe or disruptive environment
  • Harass attendees, vendors, staff, or creators
  • Damage venue property
  • Violate applicable laws or venue policies

13. Force Majeure

SlimeCityCon shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or changes caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • Government action
  • Public health emergencies
  • Labor disputes
  • Venue issues
  • Acts of terrorism
  • Utility failures
  • Transportation disruptions

14. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, possessing, or using a SlimeCityCon ticket or credential, attendees acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the SlimeCityCon Attendee Code of Conduct.

15. Policy Updates & Event Authority

SlimeCityCon reserves the right to update, modify, interpret, or enforce these Terms & Conditions and the Attendee Code of Conduct at its sole discretion at any time without prior notice.

All decisions made by SlimeCityCon staff, management, security, and venue personnel regarding attendee safety, conduct, operations, and policy enforcement are final.
