SlimeCityCon 2026 Attendee Code of Conduct

SlimeCityCon is intended to be a welcoming, inclusive, creative, family-friendly environment for attendees of all ages.
All attendees, vendors, creators, sponsors, volunteers, staff, contractors, and guests are expected to behave respectfully and help create a safe and positive experience for everyone.
Expected Behavior
Attendees are expected to:
- Treat others with respect and kindness
- Follow directions from event staff and venue personnel
- Respect personal boundaries and consent
- Be mindful of noise levels and crowd flow
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment
- Supervise minors in their care at all times
- Use event spaces, materials, and activities responsibly
Unacceptable Behavior
The following behavior is prohibited:
Harassment & Discrimination
Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, stalking, bullying, or abusive behavior toward attendees, vendors, creators, staff, volunteers, or venue personnel will not be tolerated.
This includes behavior based on:
- Age
- Race
- Ethnicity
- National origin
- Religion
- Disability
- Gender
- Sexual orientation
- Appearance
- Creator status or online following
Physical or Threatening Conduct
- Fighting
- Physical intimidation
- Threats of violence
- Throwing objects
- Throwing slime
- Intentional destruction of property
- Reckless behavior
- Grabbing, touching, or physical contact of any kind without explicit consent
- Invading personal space after being asked to stop
Inappropriate Conduct
- Sexual harassment
- Unwanted physical contact
- Inappropriate comments or gestures
- Disruptive behavior during panels, workshops, or activities
- Excessive profanity directed at others
Theft & Fraud
- Stealing merchandise or personal property
- Attempted scams or fraud
- Chargeback abuse
- Use of counterfeit currency or fraudulent payment methods
- Counterfeit merchandise sales
- Unauthorized reselling of tickets, credentials, merchandise, or event-exclusive items
Unauthorized Sales & Solicitation
Only approved vendors, sponsors, exhibitors, and partners may sell products or services on event premises.
Attendees may not conduct unauthorized sales, vending, solicitation, or commercial activity anywhere at SlimeCityCon.
Unsafe Activity
- Running in crowded areas
- Throwing slime, activators, materials, objects, or products
- Playing with slime outside of designated play or activity areas
- Misuse of slime, activators, sensory materials, or workshop supplies
- Tampering with equipment, installations, displays, or venue property
- Blocking aisles, exits, entrances, walkways, booths, or emergency access points
- Consuming or attempting to consume slime products, activators, or slime ingredients
- Unsafe behavior that may endanger attendees, vendors, staff, creators, or venue personnel
- Bringing prohibited items into the venue
- Refusal to comply with event staff or safety instructions
SlimeCityCon reserves the right to restrict or stop any activity deemed unsafe, disruptive, unsanitary, or damaging to the event, venue, attendees, or property.
Hygiene & Cleanliness
Attendees are expected to maintain reasonable hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Please dispose of trash properly and help keep shared activity areas clean.
Intentional messes, vandalism, or misuse of slime and sensory materials may result in removal.
Photography & Content Creation
Photography and social media content are encouraged; however:
- Respect requests not to be photographed or filmed
- Do not obstruct aisles, booths, or programming for content creation
- Do not harass creators, vendors, or attendees for photos or content
- Commercial filming or media production requires prior approval
Reporting Issues
If you experience or witness harassment, unsafe behavior, or policy violations, please report it immediately to:
- Event staff
- Security personnel
- The registration/help desk
- Venue staff
Reports will be handled as promptly and appropriately as possible.
Enforcement
SlimeCityCon reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, including:
- Verbal warnings
- Removal from activities
- Revocation of badges or credentials
- Removal from the event without refund
- Involvement of venue security or law enforcement when necessary
Final Authority
SlimeCityCon staff and management retain final authority regarding interpretation and enforcement of these policies.
By attending SlimeCityCon, all attendees agree to comply with this Code of Conduct.
